The story of STAND-it! began in a traditional Wisconsin dairy barn full of beautiful cows, lying on straw bedding, eating feed, and making a mess. The barn's center alley is always messy with manure, dirt, mud, wasted bedding and feed. A good strong broom was a necessity and so was a scraper. What I continually experienced were broom handles breaking or becoming loose due to failing handle braces (usually metal). And at any moment I would need to use a scraper, but there I was with a broom. Back and forth I would go from broom to scraper, lying them down or leaning them on something which was always frustrating.

So, I took it upon myself to solve this frustration of inadequately designed brooms. I went into my workshop and built my own broom handle support system with a built-in scraper that could stand independently, how exciting! This invention immediately solved the issues I was having. It basically makes a broom into a multi-tool with greater durability; and so it happened STAND-it! was invented. The original STAND-it! broom is still standing tall in the empty dairy barn. It's not pretty, but it's extra tough / super helpful / multi-function design has saved me money on buying brooms, and thousands of steps & bends vs the traditional broom. What I began to realize is how STAND-it! makes a broom more efficient, durable, and helpful.

I want to help everyone using brooms to experience how great it feels to stand a broom, to extend the life of a broom, to be more efficient in their work, to make things better that makes life better.
